(a)   Is it a fact that 99% motorcycles in Karachi are not registered;

(b)   If answer to (a) above be in the affirmative, the reasons thereof?

MR. MUKESH KUMAR CHAWLA, Minister for Excise & Taxation:

It is not a fact that 99% motor cycles in Karachi are not registered. Almost all the Motorcycles playing on the road of Karachi are registered. The number of motor cycles registered at Karachi till 31-10-2013 are 16,23,971.
