Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 06th March, 2018 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Saira Shahliani, MPA, Ms. Shamim Mumtaz, Advisor to Chief Minister for Social Welfare, Sindh, Ms. Shaheena, MPA, Ms. Shehnaz Begum, MPA, Ms. Ghazala Sial, MPA, Ms. Nusrat Sultana, MPA, Ms. Farhat Seemi, MPA, Dr. Sajeela Leghari, MPA and Mr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, MPA:-

 

“This House condoles with Ms. Rubina Qaimkhani sitting Member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on tragic death of her only son HAMZA SAADAT QAIMKHANI in a road accident.

This House also pays tribute to Ms. Rubina Qaimkhani as she honoured the priorities and commitments for the well being of others and highlighted the value of the vote in strengthening the democracy in Pakistan.”.


Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 06th March, 2018 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Engineer Sabir Hussain Kaimkhani, MPA:-

 

This House resolves that the concept of “Net Zero Energy Buildings” in major cities of Sindh be introduced and legislation be made in this regard if needed to encourage energy efficient and climate protective economic growth.”.

Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 06th March, 2018 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Dr. Zafar Ahmed Khan Kamali, MPA:-

 

This Assembly resolves to establish an Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mirpurkhas.”.

(a)   Is it a fact that 47 water supply and 50 water sewerage schemes of Rs.1.6 billion were to be completed in June, 2010;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, location and current status of the same?

 ANSWER

MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:

The Public Health Engineering Department completed 47 water supply and 50 drainage schemes costing to Rs.1.60 Billion in June, 2010. The location and current status of the schemes is Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.

(a)   Is it a fact that 500 million rupees allocation was made during 2010-11 for provision of water supply and water sewerage for small villages;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

 ANSWER

MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:

The Government of Sindh allocated and released Rs.505.000 million for water supply and drainage schemes during the year 2010-11. The district-wise list of 63 W/S and Drainage Scheme (26+37=63) is given below and details attached at Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.

Yes, it is a fact that no new water pipeline has been laid in U.C-15 Hyderabad City by Public Health Engineering Department. The jurisdiction of U.C-15 Hyderabad city falls under the domain of WASA Hyderabad Development Authority, Local Government Department.
