At present there is no any scheme to establish resource center of Social Welfare Department in Mirpurkhas.

    (a)      Whether there is any civic centre for ladies in Mirpurkhas;

    (b)      If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

There is no Civic Center for ladies run by Social Welfare Department in Mirpurkhas.

 

 

*6460. MR. KAMRAN AKHTAR: Will the Minister for Social Welfare be pleased to state:-

Grade/district-wise number of persons appointed in Social Welfare department during 2016-2017 alongwith criteria/procedure adopted for the purpose?

 

ANSWER

SYED MURAD ALI SHAH (Chief Minister), Minister for Social Welfare:

No any appointment in BS-1 to BS-15 has been made by the Social Welfare Department during 2016-17.

On the recommendation of Sindh Public Service Commission twenty five (25) female, Social Welfare Officers (BS-17) and thirty five (35) Male, Social Welfare Officers (BS-17) total 60 were appointed in the year 2016 Annexure-I, placed on the Table of the House. Criteria for the appointment of SWO as per the notified recruitment rules is “Master Degree in Sociology/Social Work atleast second division from recognized University” Annexure-II, placed on the Table of the House.

 

 

 

*6507. MR. KAMRAN AKHTAR: Will the Minister for Social Welfare be pleased to state:-

Grade-wise number/name of persons appointed in Social Welfare Department during 2015-2016 alongwith procedure followed for the same?
