The employees of JPMC filed a constitution petition in the Honourable High Court of Sindh against this transfer. The Honourable Court on 04-07-2016 ordered “The transfer/devolution of JPMC, NICVD and NICH to the province is declared to be unconstitutional, without lawful authority and of no legal effect”.

The said judgment has been challenged by Health Department in the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan which was considered by the court and issued order to maintain status quo, vide order dated 28-10-2016.

Accordingly, the posts will be filled after Honourable Supreme Court’s decision in the matter.
