102. Will the Minister for Public Health Engineering be pleased to state:-
So many water supply and drainage schemes are ruined in Sindh, name of maintaining authority of the same?
*1468.MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Public Health Engineering be pleased to state:-
(a) Is it a fact that a drainage scheme started nine months ago at Kunb city of Kotdigi could not be completed;
(b) If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the reasons thereof?
ANSWER
MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:
The extension and rehabilitation of drainage scheme Kunb city was approved by Government of Sindh during 2010 amounting to Rs.94.930 Million and completed in June 2012. The said scheme was put in test operation satisfactory and then handed over to TMA Kotdiji in September 2012 and is being maintained by TMA concerned.
Necessary handing over charge paper is at Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.

Grade-wise number of appointment made in Public Health Engineering department during 2016-17 alongwith procedure adopted for the same?
ANSWER
MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:
Only one person namely Muhammad Akram S/O Late Muhammad Aslam was appointed as Chowkidar (BPS-01) in Public Health Engineering Department, Hyderabad region during 2016-17 against deceased quota as per Summary approved by the Honourable Chief Minister Sindh. Copy of appointment order is at Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.
