RANA ANSAR, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Home, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that the capacity to confine prisoners at Mirpurkhas Prison is 72 but the confined prisoners are 300 there; reasons to give extension to the said old Prison?

2.  CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 01 OF 2017;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. KAMRAN AKHTER, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that Karachi city is comprising on 20.75 million population but there is no any DNA Laboratory in the City, whether any  proposal under consideration to establish the said Laboratory by the Government, if not, why, explain?

3.  CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 04 OF 2017;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. KHURRAM SHER ZAMAN, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that surrounding area of Karachi’s City Railway Station, as it has become a nuisance for travellers, area residents & traders due to the crumbling condition of roads?

4.  CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 05 OF 2017;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. NUSRAT BANO SEHER ABBASI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Zakat & Ushr, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that the 850 (Eight Hundred and Fifty) persons staff working on contract in the Zakat head staff, the staff is not being regularized steps taken by the Government to regularize the said staff?

5.  CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 02 OF 2017;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD MOIN AAMIR PIRZADA, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that a plot addressed ST-01, Sector 32/D, Road 5000, opposite National Public School, Korangi No. 1, Karachi has been encroached by a land grabber and also built a building and Bara (Cattle Foam) by the encroacher?

 102.   Will the Minister for Public Health Engineering be pleased to state:-

So many water supply and drainage schemes are ruined in Sindh, name of maintaining authority of the same?

 *1468.MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Public Health Engineering be pleased to state:-

(a)      Is it a fact that a drainage scheme started nine months ago at Kunb city of Kotdigi could not be completed;

(b)      If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the reasons thereof?

 ANSWER

MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:

The extension and rehabilitation of drainage scheme Kunb city was approved by Government of Sindh during 2010 amounting to Rs.94.930 Million and completed in June 2012. The said scheme was put in test operation satisfactory and then handed over to TMA Kotdiji in September 2012 and is being maintained by TMA concerned.

Necessary handing over charge paper is at Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.

Number of drainage schemes approved for district Hyderabad during 2010 to 2011?

 ANSWER

MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:

          There are total following 02 Nos. drainage schemes approved under ADP 2010-11:-

1.   Rural D/S/Scheme Qaim Khan Babar, UC Moolan Taluka Hyderabad (Rural)

2.   R/D/Scheme Muhammad Khan Bagrani Taluka Qasimabad, District Hyderabad

Number of towns/villages which discharge waste effluent directly into right bank rice canal?

 ANSWER

MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:

The following 15 disposal works of Larkana city dispose off waste water directly into right bank rice canal:-

Grade-wise number of appointment made in Public Health Engineering department during 2016-17 alongwith procedure adopted for the same?

 ANSWER

MR. FAYAZ ALI BUTT, Minister for Public Health Engineering:

Only one person namely Muhammad Akram S/O Late Muhammad Aslam was appointed as Chowkidar (BPS-01) in Public Health Engineering Department, Hyderabad region during 2016-17 against deceased quota as per Summary approved by the Honourable Chief Minister Sindh. Copy of appointment order is at Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.
