Construction of Bus Terminals at Thatta, Badin and Mirokhan, at Qambar Shahdadkot is under process and is reflected in ADP Scheme 2013-14 at Sr. No.1666.

Proposal was included in ADP 2011-12 Administrative approval was issued on 15-12-12 by Works & Services Department.

Completion date of the project:

36 months after issuance of work order i.e. 05-12-2015 Progress as under:-

(i)          Thatta – Foundation Completed

(ii)        Badin – Excavation in foundation work started.

(iii)      Miro Khan – Columns up to plinth level & Stone masonry work completed up to plinth level.

 *458. MS. HEER SOHO: Will the Minister for Transport be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it fact that there is any program to construct bus terminals in different cities;

(b)   If answer to (a) above be in the affirmative, the details thereof including the amount to be spent?

          ANSWER

SYED NASIR HUSSAIN SHAH, Minister for Transport:

(a)   Yes.

(b)   A Scheme at a cost of Rs.280.452 Million for construction of Bus Terminals at Thatta, Badin and Miro Khan, is under implementation and is reflected in ADP Scheme 2013-14 at Sr. No.1666 with an allocation of Rs.133.187 Million during the financial year 2013-14.

The Transport & Mass Transit Department filled in 35 posts on Urban quota and 36 posts on rural during 01.01.2008 to 15.03.2013.  The list of the filled in posts with name of post, BPS are attached at Annexure, placed on the Table of the House.
