Business to be brought forward before the Legislature on Saturday, the 5th April 2008 at 11.00 a.m. i. (a) Recitation from the Holy Quran (b) Naat Shareef ii. Oath of Affirmation by Members, Provincial Assembly of Sindh. iii. Schedule for the Election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker Members to be informed that: (a) Under Rule 7 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh any Member may propose or second the name of any Member to be Speaker or deputy Speaker. (b) Nomination papers for the post of Speaker and Deputy Speaker can be obtained from the office of the Secretary Assembly today, immediately after the Session till 4.00 p.m. on 5th April 2008. (c) On Sunday the 6th April 2008, the Assembly Secretariat will remain open as usual. After filling the nomination papers the same will be delivered by the candidate or his proposer or seconder to the Secretary, Provincial Assembly of Sindh upto 12.00 noon. (d) Sunday the 6th April 2008 at 3.00 p.m. the scrutiny of the nomination papers. (e) List of valid nomination papers will be affixed on notice board of Assembly Secretariat at 4.00 p.m. on same day, the 6th April 2008. (f) Monday the 7th April 2008 at 9.30 a.m. the election of the Speaker and deputy Speaker by secret balloting and announcement of successful candidates.
